Captain's Log: Stardate 9608.64 Shortly after dropping off the surviving crew of the ill-fated USS Phoenix at Starbase Zeta IX, we were assinged to participate in the so-called historic mission Operation Retrieve to rescue the renowned Captain Kirk and Doctor McCoy, but the mission was scrapped soon after, to prevent compromise of the peace treaty. Since then, we've been assigned the duty of escorting the vessel IKS Nej'rav, a vessel that we coincidently encountered several months ago while on routine patrol. I am eager to encounter Captain Glaen and his crew once again. I pray this will be a smooth operation, and that many will benefit from this chain of events.
The starship Endeavour slowed down to impulse, at the designated rendezvous location. On the horizon of the viewscreen, the sharp silhouette of their escortee vessel, the IKS Nej'rav could be seen in the distance. "Lieutenant Zeppelin," open a channel to the Nej'rav," said Kynes, weraing the proudest face he could muster.
The portrait of a battle scarred Captain Glaen appeared on the screen. "Captain Kynes... It is good to see you," said Glaen, who appeared agitated. Kynes anticipated frustration on their account. From what he had experienced, Klingons didn't like to be escorted.
"Captain Glaen... It's been too long. I trust you've recovered from our last encounter?" said Kynes jokingly. Glaen scowled. "We have had ample time to recover from that minor damage. Shall we be off?" Kynes nodded. "We're sending you the coordinates now..."

Vorak watched with great interest and pleasure. It was aggreable that two of the Alpha quadrants super powers had come to a benifical peace. He followed Kynes to the transporter room to meet them.

Meanwhile as senior bridge officer Rudger took the captains chair, Though he would only be holding it for 30 minutes or less it was still what was done when the captain left, after all... someone has to keep his chair warm.

Zepplin was behind the Transporter Room Console, when the Captain and Commander arrived.
"Sir, I think I have got accurate co-ordinates." Vorak looked at him strangely.
"Are you 'really' sure we can trust them sir?" Zepplin asked, although he had never met these particular klingons, he didn't like klingons in general. And he certainly wasn't about to start trusting them, just because they extended an open hand.

Kynes just indicates to the transporter. Zepplin thought that he might feel the same way, but he wasn't sure. "Aye sir. standby." Zepplin activated the console and prepared to beam them to the other vessel. "Energizing." Zepplin moved his hand up and then down the levers and the Captain and Vorak disappeared as the de-materialized. "=COMM=Endeavour to Klingon vessel, have you recieved the members of our crew." "Yes Endeavour, Klingon vessel out.=COMM=" "Have a 'nice' day." Zepplin began to storm out of the Endeavour, but stopped at the intercomm panel by the door. "=COMM=Zep to Bridge; The Captain and Commander have beamed aboard the Klingon vessel, and they arrived safetly... I'll be in my quarters."
Zepplin had been working over time for the last hour or so, so he decided to actually take a break for a change. He entered the turboshaft and the doors closed infront of him.

Zepplin arrived at his quarters and looked around. ~Wow, I've come along way.~ He thought to himself. He looked around his quarters and looked at some of the things that he had brought over from when he first arrived on the ship. The friends he made, the missions he faced. It's been only a few months, but he has experienced alot already. "Computer, open up Operation Officers log." "begin log when ready." Zepplin recorded his log then lay down on his bed. His Uniform was undone at the top, he felt like working, but he knew he had to rest. He got ready for bed and went to sleep at that time in the night.

Bzzt "=COMM=Lieutenant Zepplin sir."
Zepplin awoke.
Rising, he tapped the button on the internal comm. "Go ahead..."
"I was just reminding you that you take bridge shift in 20 minutes sir, the shift before The Captain wakes."
"Thank you; Ensign, Zep...out=COMM="
Zepplin fell back on his bed.
After being getting ready he was on the bridge. "Report."
"Nothing out of the ordinary, the Klingons have reported no anomalous readings, we aren't getting any either" "Thank you." Zepplin said rubbing his eyes, sitting down at the con. "Computer... what is the time?" "The time now is, 0535hrs." "Great... a whole hour before the Captain takes the bridge back. Arr Yeoman." "Yes Lieutenant." "Bring a pot of hot coffee to the bridge, a few of the officers including myself appear to need a stimulant." "Right away sir."
A few minutes later he had a cup of coffee in his hand. Moments like these time seemed to stand still. Almost.

Vorak and the Captain had returned from a luke warm dinner with the Klingons last night and he awoke this morning realising that it was not as simple as some made it out to be. Humans and Klingons were a highly emotional race, and that would always stand in the way of peace at one point or another. He walked onto the bridge and took the science station greeting the officers on the bridge with a nodd. He frowned at his first readings. "Lieutenant are you picking up a radiation surge?" he asked Zepplin.
