The Captain nodded at Vanlen. "I'm not sure this is a hoax, Mr. Vanlen. From what I've seen of them, they are a vicious but extremely honourable race. I doubt they would use a backhanded tactic like that. However, it is a possibility. Raise shields at the slightest sign of any energy signatures in their disruptor banks."

Looking up from the Ops Console Zepplin reports. "Sensors dont indicate any activity in their weapons systems or sheild grids, any strange readings and you'll know the second I do Captain"

OOC: These threads don't really coincide with Missions. It could take place before Episode I, or it could take place after this mission. These are sort of mini-episodes, to fill out the sim.
IC: Half an hour passed, and Kynes began to get anxious. "Captain Kynes to Away Team. How are things going down there?"

"Captain, I believe the ship was home to some renigades and that may be what happened to the crew. We were attacked as you know and have found more since. All of them have been sent to the brig and sruviours to sick bay. Shall I have Clark and Zepplin begin repairs once all decks are cleared?"

Kynes was puzzled by the incessant attacks of this 'Shield of Kah'less' renegade faction. "I'll have some additional repair crews sent down there, as well as another two teams of Security. If there is a risk, we wil need to sweep the IKS Nej'rav from top to bottom, not just for the sake of the Nej'rav's real crewmen but the peace between the Empire and the Federation. This could be constituted as an act of goodwill towards the Klingons. I hope this will help the Federation to approach an agreement with the Klingon people. Captain Kynes out."
Kynes signaled to Zepplin to get down there and use his experience in operations to help deal with the increasing activity onboard the Nej'rav.
