As time passed on, the systems of the Nej'rav came back online one by one, and the crew started recovering from the freak accident.
It was not long before a Klingon detachment of K'Vort Bird of Preys came to retreive Captain Glaen and the Nej'rav.
"We've come to retrieve the Imperial Officer you have," said the leader of the K'Vort detachment.
"We're just helping them out," said Kynes coolly.
"They're warp reactor malfunctioned, and it heavily damaged their ship. We stopped to give aid in repairing the Nej'rav. We are relieved that you've come to pick them up."
The Klingon nodded.
"Kapla!" he bellowed, before disengaging the com channel and leading the K'Vort detachment and the towed Nej'rav out into warp, back to Empire space.
With everyone accounted for, this was a proud moment for Kynes and the crew. The only discomfort he had however, was the nagging curiosity as to what exactly 'Kapla' meant.
