Episode XVIII: Fatal Contact

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak looks back at them as he steps onto the transporter pad. He felt the tingling of the blue beam pass him as he dematerialized on the Captain's orders.
The civilian bridge section was part of three parts that were over the surface, covering a short distance. Its life support was low but active. It was the largest of the pieces and was obviously the main crash site of the ship. The lights and panels flickered as bodies lay around the deck.
The blue double waves of the transporter moved outward from the pattens as the landing party rematerialized.
"Clark, you and your team try and get power to the computer, My team will head over to the main bridge section. Doctor begin analyzing this species fro a match. Security teams span out. One per team."
Vorak and his men made their way forward with the Captain and Jade as Vorak moved a body and sat at what appeared to be an operating console.
"I will attempt to restore power to this console while Mr Clark works on the mains. Snow take the engine station, Yuri try the helm and Tomb on tactical. We will try and access the logs."

Overhead unknown to all including Lichfield in command at the time, a cloaked force of ships loomed over the moon. Sensors on the Endeavour giving out strange readings.

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade looked around and recognized nothing about the ship or its panels. She stopped and looked down at the alien Beathan was scanning and gasped.
"I have seen this species before" she told him.

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Really? how can tha be? they be no' in our data banks" He said tring to get a properscan but coulden't get a good reading.

[Lt Matina Jade]

"I don't know, its just like my other visions. I don't remember how I know. I just do" she told him "this is being to scare me."

[Beathan MacAinmire]

"Do ya wanta return ta tha ship? Or stop, and rest?" He asked conserned for his freind.

[Lt Matina Jade]

"Ill be fine" she says leaning agains't the wall and finindg scorch marks there.
"These look like have been made by a Federation Torpedo."

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak spun his chair aft and listened to Jade's comment.
"Indeed, however disturbing it is to believe. This ship appears to have been fired upon by a Federation vessel. Perhaps your visions mean more than we know at present. When we return to the ship perhaps a mind meld would help us at this time."
He then turned back to the console and then opened his communicator.
Clark, status of your team?"

[Daniel Clark]

Daniel worked with the console for another second before it flickered into life
Got it Commander, she's on-line

[Commander Vorak]

Any chance of getting an Id code
He asked as he worked over the console that had just come to life. He knew something was wrong. He intended to find out what.

[Will Litchfield]

Litchfield, who was on the bridge, looked at his sensors and exclaimed.
"What in the hell is going on here" he said, wondering if he should bother the commander with this.

Got it sir Daniel reported

[Commander Vorak]

Thank you Clark, have men do what else they can
He then returned the channel to the Endeavour bridge.
Strange, we are almost ready to return. Begin a sensor sweep of the area and report back.
He turn back to the console and placed his tricorder on top.
"I am beginning to download the database."

[Daniel Clark]

Daniel tapped a few controls before a thing popped up it said

Self Destruct Sytym activated Self Destruct in 5 Minutes

Commander we may have a problem

[Commander Vorak]

With the ID? He asked and then heard the alarm The Security systems must be rigged!
He got up quickly and turned to the others with haste.
Endeavour, beam the landing party and the body near the Doctor back at once!
With that they dematerialized, only moments after the ship exploded.
"You think it was done by the aliens?" asked Yuri.
"Unknown" he replied "but perhaps we will learn more from the partial logs I downloaded.

Vorak walked onto the bridge with Kynes, Jade and Clark.
"Report Mr Lichfield."
