"I sure hope so," said Kynes, responding to Vorak's question. "Energize Transporter," he said as they vanished into thin air.

Vorak looked around. The gleaming room was swirling with beautiful energy lighting of blues, purples and green. It was as if one was engulfed in a slipstream with a cage of the rooms and corridors. "I am picking up over 17 different species, one of which I can not separate from the technology and seems to be the most common" spoke Vorak.

Kynes nodded. "Let's start moving," said Kynes. Before they could move more then a few meters, they heard a big voice that could be heard all around them. "You have come to speak with us?" the voice asked. "Yes. We would like to discuss the state of our federation." Throughout his life, Kynes did not believe he had experienced something more stressful then he was feeling now. The weight of the Federation was on his and Vorak's shoulders, and he had reason to believe the V'ytorrek was using some sort of biotoxin in their air to induce anxiety.

For this reason Vorak was lucky to be Vulcan. "We wish to see your ship, your people, your history" he added.

OOC: For those who haven't already, please read the V'ytorrek profile in the Database.
IC: Another ear-piercing shriek. "I apologise. Currently our vessel's crew has interfaced with the Aeion Zeir. We will dispatch a alien relations Gamma citizen.
Suddenly, a small siding of the wall slid open, revealing a small fetus-like creature. It squirmed around, and suddenly, a mechanical humanoid-shaped robot appeared from the shadows. It walked up to the siding, and let the larvae-like creature slide into the robot's top. The transparent cover closed over the creature, and the larvae became still. Suddenly, the robot walked with a much more fluid motion. "Greetings, Federation Ambassadors. <pzzt>" "Now, we can dialogue in a much more efficient manner. What say you?" the robot/V'ytorrek asked.

"What is the purpose of this metallic suit?" asked Vorak. The V'ytorrek paused, contemplating a proper answer. "It is... the way of things. The Divinity in all things has given us intellects of omnipotence, but we live on a curse. Our technology lessened our work, and work strengthened the bodies. It is the way of things." The V'ytorrek paused, as if it was suffering from an emotional outbreak. "Please, come with me. The Alphas of the Aeion Zeir IK-7 would like to discuss the terms of surrender with you." Kynes nodded. "Lead the way." Kynes and Vorak walked behind the V'ytorrek. As they walked, Kynes gave a look to Vorak that seemed to say 'what are we going to do?'

Zepplin reported from his station "Nothing to report, all systems normal." Zepplin just then detected a very strange reading on his console. "Lt. you should come see this." Jade got out of the Command Chair and came over to have a close look. A very large amount of ionising particles was being produced by the V'ytorrek's ship. "What do you think Lt.?"

The made their way into a large chamber room and waited, left alone for the first time since first contact was made. "Captain, I would wait to dicuss things until we are back aboard our vessel, we do not want to seem rude" he said hoping Kynes saw thew the code and got the message.

"Aye ma'm, Multi spector scan in progress." Zepplin looked at his console for a moment "Sensors aren't picking up anything in particular... an energy build up of 'some' kind... Ma'm I think they're charging weapons! Their firing on us! SHIELDS!"
