"Sir, should i umm, move us before you answere them?" i say. Normaly im brave, but stairing a huge ships weapons in the face is extreamly unnerveing, and i fully expected them to fire on us when the captain answered no...

"What do you want?" asked Kynes nervously. "We are the V'ytorrek," the mechanical voice replied. It was void of emotion, and it's tone induced an abnormal fear in Kynes' heart. "We are... <pzzt> The Gods of Andromeda... From which, the divine hand cast us down into your galaxy, to expand the V'ytorrek Directorate into the far reaches of your realm. <tzzk> The Redisona have joined the New Directorate, and they are fighting the Valen oppressors this very moment with the most fervent valour. <pzzt> Join the Divine crusade of domination, and salvation will be insured...-<pzzzzzzztt>"
The transmission ended there, and Kynes stood there, stressed. Sweating madly, he quickly conceived of a response. "Were you responsible for the temporal catastrophe on Gliam Del?"
"...Yes."
Kynes' sense of despair and anxiety became mixed with curiosity and adventure. He wished to learn more about this advanced species. They could well be the first humans to make a peaceful first contact with an extragalactic race. Of course, there was considerable doubt in Alexander's mind that this massive warship would not leave without a fight.
There was an extreme amount of communications activity emanating from Starbase 29. As the V'ytorrek dreadnought drew steadily closer to the starbase, the tension rose steadily. Right about now, the whole of the Federation would be informed of this crisis, and it's deadly potential outcome. "Why have you invaded the Federation's territory?" asked Kynes.
"<pzzt> We have not done so. We have discovered your worlds, and we would like your co-operation in the Divine Crusade."
Kynes scrambled for an answer. Deciding to play along and humour their request, Kynes sat down into his chair.
"What do you require from the Federation and it's people?" asked Kynes. A brief moment passed, and suddenly a screech blasted through the speakers.
"We ask little from your government. Only the benefits of your commercial systems, the submission of your military, and the implantations of the Modulation chips on your citizenry. Are these terms <pzzt> amiable to your current political state? <pzzt>"
"Modulation chips?"
"The insurance of your populace's obidience. Nothing more then the supervision of thoughts, and the act of divinity, to purge the non comformity of individuality."
Kynes gasped. For a race so advanced, they lacked even the slightest of moral centers.

I looked at the captain and back at the screen... he wouldint say yes would he?? if i could..wait... could i? not alone... a ship that size has to have atleast 10,000 people onboard, shes huge.. but if we beamed aboard. what would be big enough? every photon torpedo? no we need a nuke..no 30 nukes... but where to get them? we haveint had nukes on our ships for 100 years. I quickly tyoed in my idea and sent it to the captains chair...hopefully the station has a few nukes handy..we could beam them over and take that ship to hell...

OOC:a fellow officer of same rank can remind you when your wrong... god am i the only one here who know how the rank system works? guys, anyone can remind anyone else that not following orders is bad, rank regardless, its only a higher ranking can act while a lower ranking can only remind... don't chide the guy who knows protocals to the letter! IC:"Lt Zeplen, your not my commanding officer, and the captain tells me where to fly the ship. He said to put it here and here it stays entill he or an admiral tells me otherwise. Stop trying to be the captain. Now Captain, want me to pull us in closer or maintain postion?" i ask... OOC: alright Lt. thois has gone far enough, keep your comments to yourself, and I'll stay out of your business, if you stay out of mine! oh and also, 'Lt.' I was watching Star Trek when you were still in dia-pers, dont 'ever' forget that. IC:"I'm quite aware of that fact Lt. I'm just wondering if you are aware that any good officer can remind the Captain of the seriousness of his orders, if you want to follow orders blindly, go right ahead, but good officers tend to anaylse a situation. So I have my rights to question orders, even if I am still planning to follow them. Is 'That' clear enough for you? that I am not taking the Captains role, simply doing my duty. Now I sergest you do yours."

IC: I glare at him. if i were the captain that would earn him a huge rebuke...then again if i were the captain tom, me and coner would be rebuked... i have got to be more careful and let these fools get themselves rebuked... i think...

OOC: no It means i know stuff about the show, that you dont, get it right, just because I happened to forget which time period we were in doesnt make the information any less relevent, get your head screwed on Lt. and stop being such a little cry baby. Lets just get on with the episode, and let the Captain decide what he wants to say, alright?
IC: "'Orders' Captain." Zepplin said, trying to ignor the childness of Mr. McVanlen

"Captain" said Vorak somewhat irrated that this invasion of the federation was being ignored for petty aguments over starfleet regulations. "Perhaps the both of us could beam aboard as representatives, get a closer look at whom we are dealing with" he offered "Under the condition we leave Ms.Jade incharge."

"I suggest Ms. Jade goes along, Commander." Said Bligh. "Just in case these people aren`t as friendly as we thought they were. In that case, I think you`ll need a trained security officer."

"V'ytorrek," started the Captain.
"<pzzt> We are the V'ytorrek. State your business."
"Request we send two of our representatives over to your vessel."
There was a long pause.
"<pzzt> We accept your offer," said the V'ytorrek.
"Please transport your ambassadors over to the Aeion Zeir."
Kynes nodded, looking at Vorak.
