Episode IV: Voyagers

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

Kynes watched as the USS Endeavour once again neared the comforts of Starbase 29. Now called 'Sanctuary Base' by many of the Endeavour's crew, the Endeavour waited to unload it's precious cargo off at the base.

The captain wondered how the crew of the USS Amazing would be able to readapt to the lifestyle of civilization, after they had spent 8 years on a temporal-warped Valen planet. As the crew silently did their work, Kynes retreated to his ready room, to discuss the mission with the newly appointed CO of Starbase 29, Admiral Te'rek, after the former Admiral Dawson was arrested by Starfleet for Treason.

"Admiral, I believe we may have a problem," said Kynes.
"Go ahead," said the aged Tellarite Admiral.
"While making first contact with the Valen people, we were intercepted by a unidentified Alien vessel, most likely a warship. They refused to answer our hails, and they were much more advanced then anything I've ever seen. We believe that they were helping a fundamentalist group oust the current Valen Republic of their power, so the faction, a Valen group called the Redisona could install their own regime. We have very little information about the Alien vessel, besides that it has extremely powerful engineering qualities."

Admiral Te'rek nodded.
"We'll keep in touch, Captain Kynes. Admiral Te'rek out."

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak had been since they reentered federation space helping with repairs up until this moment as the bridge looked once again shiny and new.
He walked up and chimed the ready room door.

[Rudger McVanlen]

I sit on the bridge holding watch officer, i pondered what had happend in Valen space...



OOC: you all wait till i go to watch Voyager and then you all log on and post... grrrrrr there will be no cookies and cake for you all!!!

Once again Zepplin found himself in the mess hall of Starbase 29. He admitted that it wasnt as nice as Starbase 1, where he went three times a day, long ago, but it was still slightly nicer than a starship at times.

He joined his fellow officers at a table.

OOC: What on earth are you talking about?

"Yes, Mr. Vorak?" asked Captain Kynes, as Vorak entered the Ready Room.
"Was there... something you needed?"

Kynes was a bit distracted by all of the things that had transpired in such a short time.

Bligh walked in with Conor Zeplin. "Can I get anybody anything to drink?" He asked the group.

Zepplin laughed
"Bligh your a good guy, just let the waiters bring us something."

[Daniel Clark]

Daniel Sat in Engineering and Began a Level 2 Diognostic he still wasn't happy about the Power Fluctionations duing the last mission and was determened to fix them

[Commander Vorak]

"Captain, I feel that we must return to Valen space. Of these unknown aliens allow these radical warlike Valens to take over their republic I would cause unrest for the entire quadrant. Starfleet can not afford another war at this time Captain" he told his commanding officer.

[Lt Matina Jade]

Jade made her way to the bar and began reading the second book the series she had been for some time. She sighed, she wanted to show those good damed aliens what for but she was rescricted to duty.

[Rudger McVanlen]

After being relived from watch i go to the canina, seeing jade reading i decide to once again try to talk to her. "Hey, what book are you reading there?" i ask as i sit down beside her...

Bligh noticed Rudger walk in. A strange feeling swelled in the pit of his stomach. This was hatred, and deep loathing! Bligh couldn`t quiet place his finger on it, but there was somthing about Rudger that Bligh completely hated. Bligh came away from this little world of hate and then realized that the "Self Asserted Captain" ( As fellow officers who disliked Rudger called him) had left the bridge. =/\= Bridge, this is Lt. Bligh. Could you use some help up there? =/\=. A young officer answered the Comm. =/\= Hi Lt, this is Ensign Scott. Umm ... sure a little guidance would be great! We are all Ensigns up here so a Lt. would bring some comfort to us. =/\=. Bligh turned to the group. "Well, I guess I`ll head up to the bridge. I`ll see you on duty." Said Bligh to Conor. =/\= Alright Ensign Scott, I`m on my way. Bligh out.=/\=

[Rudger McVanlen]

OOC: at space dock there wouldint realy be need to have an Lt. on the bridge, witch is why i left. and i see we are going with the Rudger Vs Bligh fighting thing...just don't pull rank on me so its fair=) to much at least...

Bligh exited the turbolift to find a group of smiling Ensigns. "Are all systems ok?" Asked Bligh as he moved to Tactical to look over the system. "Yes, Lt." Said Ensign Scott. "We could even leave now if we had to." Bligh thought for a moment and then tapped his Badge =/\= Bligh to the Captain. Captain, all systems are ready to go. We can leave when ever you are ready. =/\=

"Commander Vorak," said Captain Kynes.
"As much as I appreciate and admire your insightful opinion, it's not our place to go off on a tangent, trespassing into a new and alien empire's territory. I do believe the Valen are xenophobic to an extent. We would have met them long before if they weren't. I will only warrant the passage into their space, if they give us their permission."

Kynes paused for a moment.

"However... I do share your curiosity on these peoples. The most disturbing thing on that mission though, was the unknown vessel, and the temporal anomalies. If that starship was to attack the Federation, we would have no means of defending against it. Did your analysis of our scan results shed any light on the unknown vessel?" Kynes asked. He was eager to learn more about the matter at hand.
