Episode XIV: Ploys Of The Mind

[Juliet Snow]

Juliet heard him "Commander...." Her voice seemed to enter reality for just a moment she was in a different world, the ship was all wrong, the way to go in and out seemed so crazy she saw him for a moment, but didn't get much of a chance to do anything "No..come back!" She cried she wanted to be heard so bad that as her body slept she managed to speak out "Come Back" She said as she slept, so all could hear her.

[Commander Vorak]

She saw a figure emerge from the smoke.
"Ms Snow, if you can here me come toward my voice."

[Juliet Snow]

"Vorak..." She started to run towards him as fast as she could, he seemed so close but far away at the same time, she didn't understand what was going on, she wasn't one to allow her emotions to show but she was fustrated. "Im here.....where ever here is"

[Commander Vorak]

"This is your mind chief, if you do not fight the darkness it will consume you. Can you recall your attacker?" he asked into the shadows and mist.

[Juliet Snow]

She looked at him she closed her eyes thinking for a moment "It was dark, it was a big man, in all black, his voice was strange he spoke with his mind and his mouth, I tried everything to stop it but....I saw his face only for a moment, but his face is blurry but that voice, I won't ever forget"

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Tos, by attacking our vessel, you are declaring a state of war between Olen Prime and the Federation. And you don't appear to be in form for fighting... Computer, momentarily disengage communications channel."
"Acknowledged."
Kynes turned to Zepplin.
"What are our options? What systems do we still have?"

[Commander Vorak]

"Can you grab my hand" he says reaching out toward her direction "your life depends on it."

[Jason M. Frayers]

Jason smiled as he saw Lt. Jade arrive with the guests. They were complaining about mistreatment and such and something about we had no right. He got up and walked over to the cell.

"Now If I were you I would fess up to what you have been doing and why. Cause from what I see things are only going to get more messy for you guys." said Jason

"Lt. Those bugs are the same configuration to what I got from intel. Hey has the Doctor had a chance to give our new friends here a checkup. Maybe a simple blood test would reviel a lot." suggested Jason

[Juliet Snow]

He seemed so far away she closed her eyes remembering some things Vorak taught her, she was human yes, but she could do a few things they could do, she opened her eyes and grabbed his hand she had a smile on her face.

[Louis de-Point du lac]

Lestat for his part sneered at the words "as you wish" he says reaching into his boot and taking something out. A device of some type. He threw it into the forcefield and watched it deflect knocking over all the officers in the room. He ran out jumping onto a crewman and ripping his throat out with his fangs, they themselves deep in his neck. As he came up his eyes were white as snow and reflective, blood around his mouth.
"Common Louis!"
"No Lestat, was it you? Did you kill these people?" said Louis shocked.
"They were in the way of our mission Louis! They all deserve to die!"
"What mission?"
"To destroy and occupy this sector, I guess there is no harm in telling you that now. Only us commanding officers new before hand. Once the Olen's destroy themselves we take the survivors into our empire and increase or borders."
"The council would not do this!"
"You underestimate our new elder. Marcus has been known to be rash Louis. And he is right, our time for dominance over this quadrant has come. No more shall we feed from cattle, we shall drink fresh and humanoid blood. And taste like never before!"
"This is wrong!"
Lestat grumbled and ran expecting Louis to follow, he never did.

[Jason M. Frayers]

Jason picked himself off the ground and shook his head getting his bearings. He quickly moved over to the comm station.

=/\=Frayers to Bridge we got a jail break. Medical Emeregency in the Brig one of the Security Officers is down. Lestat has escaped.=/\=

Jason grabbed a phaser from his back and aimed it at Louis.

"Come on here and have a seat. I believe there is a story you want to tell me." said Jason as he brushed off his uniform

[Captain Alexander Kynes]

"Captain, they are urgently hailing us."
Kynes sighed.
"Onscreen."
"Prepare to be boarded," said Tos.
"Submit your vessel to me, or you will be destroyed. Half of my planets Planetary Defense Guns are locked on your ship."
Kynes' mind raced. Turning to Zepplin, he quickly thought of something.
"Zepplin, engage the AF-9 Radiation Grid."
Zepplin raised an inquisitive eyebrow, but understood when Kynes winked at him.
"Grid engaged, sir."
"Minister Tos," began Kynes.
"We've just engaged our... AF-9 Radiation Grid. If the hull is but scratched, the AF-9 Radiation Grid will emit high-concentration Theta radiation that will eradicate all life in the sector..."
Tos shook his head.
"We've scanned your vessel!"
"It's built into our warp core," said Kynes.
"You'd never be able to pinpoint it!"
Tos became quite angered.
"We're sending 3 vessels to surround you. You won't be leaving this system on that vessel," said Tos.
"We'll see about that," said Kynes.
"Ensign Marshall, relay a message to starfleet command. Request reinforcements, a task force to overview and negotiate with the Olen, once they have a new leader. Mr. Clark, put all of your men onto get rid of that inertial damper and getting us warp-capable again."
Kynes smiled. The Endeavour would not fall into enemy hands so easily.

Suddenly the Red Alert siren sounded throughout the bridge.
"Security Breach! The Valen Lestat has escaped the Security Block. Several crewmen are wounded!" came a voice through the PA system.
Kynes furrowed his brow.
"All security lock on to Lestat's position. Set all phasers on stun."

[Commander Vorak]

Vorak and Snow opened their eyes to the sound of the red alert. He blinked for a moment before speaking.
"Doctor, care to her. I have a job to do."
He walked out of the room and nodded to his freind before departing for the bridge. He walked out of the turbolift.
"I have been updated on everything Captain" he says spinning his chair to his station.

[Juliet Snow]

She opened her eyes and heard them, she had to talk to them, she staggered to the bridge "Its them" She said she managed to say, after a moment she saw the screen "Son of a..." She stopped herself.

[Louis de-Point du lac]

Louis looked up at him and sighed.
"My people have caused all of this, I didn't know I swear. Only Lestat knew" he took a breath and then revealed Lestat's true position "He was my commanding officer, but he has gone to far. He attacked your crew but I had no idea of it, I swear to what ever deity you wish. that all I know, but I can get it all if you just follow my plan."
