But before they do much Rudger guns the drive and the Endeavour blasts away and rolls up and in behind the BOP giveing the endeavour the chance to finish the romulans off once and for all.
The admiral runs over to the tacticle console and says "Lt. I'm finishing this." Turning with his hand on the all fire control hes says over the com channel "See you in hell Romulan scum!" Before depressing the button and unleashing a hail of death forward...

Kynes choked. The viewscreen illustrated the floating hulk of the once glorious Phoenix. A vessel (and crew) that had once paved the way for frontier exploration was now a sea of debris...

IC as Romulans: "ARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGHHH"
IC as Zepplin: "The romulan vessel has been destroyed sir." Zepplin says looking up at the Admiral. "Sir, if we had just disabled their weapons, we could've captured the vessel and take it back for further study and analysis. I'm am not so sure as to the wisdom of your actions." Zepplin says looking sternly at the Admiral.

OOC: ummm ok... *Turns around and runs away screeming*
IC in fakeland: "No, we shall call it the USS John... and it will have a super fart gun!!" shouts the admiral...
IC in the real world...: The admiral turns to Conor and says, with a voice cold enough to freeze a sun, "Lt. They killed firends of mine...captain Harrington and i had... a strange firendship, but a firendship all the same. And they killed him, so i killed them back. I'm a warrior not your standard starfleet admiral son, why do you think that my com unit gos off whenever starfleet is expecting a big fight? It's because i have the guts to act, and i felt that they deserved to die. Plus i'm sure we will be able to capture another at some point" He started out cold but evened out near the end. "Now, Captain kynesyour bridge is yours once again. When we get hom we have another fight ahead..but this one will be fought with words. And once thats done i have 117 families to inform of their loved ones deaths..." He adds refering to the dead aboard the phoenix...

OOC: How can 18 people have 117 familes? admin reply: there were 18 surviours not 18 crew!
IC: Zepplin looks at the Admiral blankly and ressumes his station. He thought to his actions were a bit over the top, but who was he to question authority? "Captain, will we be having that dinner in the mess hall this evening? Although the Phoenix crew will not be attending?" Zepplin asked in a bleak fashion. That empty feeling after realising all those lives, had been lost.

jade stood her head low, she blamed herself, how could she not? If she had cracked this earlier the Phoenix would never had been in trouble. At least the ship could be saved, if not its crew.

OOC: Conor W and I discussed that. We're having another ship being renamed the Phoenix in honour of this noble sacrifice.
IC: Kynes hung his head. The bridge crew of the Phoenix had sacrificed themselves to saving the rest of the ship. Now with an added compliment of 117 onboard, the Endeavour's habitation areas were crowded. Many sat in the corridors, tears in their eyes. Some of the harder crewmen had even opted to help the Endeavour's crew in their respective departments.
"All Senior Officers, report to the Observation Lounge for debreifing. Kynes Out."

OOC: Excuse me, there were 18 dead, not 18 survivors, please get it right. Arr, I see the Captain knows what he's talking about.
IC: Zepplin looked at Vorak "Sir? What are you talking about? I wasn't asking what we should be fearing, it was clear that that was the case... I just wonder how deep into the Federation this spying really goes, and if there are more than just the two of those spys on the ship."
The Captain gave his order and all the senior officers left the bridge.
Once in the Observation lounge Zepplin took his usual seat, one seat down from the Captains left at the head of the table. The Admiral took the other head of the table, and senior officers from both ships began arriving to the Observation Lounge.

"Gentlemen," said Kynes. "I've just spoken with Starfleet Command... They've acknowledged the destruction of the USS Phoenix, and have administered condolences to the victim's families. I hear that they are renaming the USS Potemkin as the Phoenix, to comemerate the sacrifice they made to save the rest of the crew. I know many of you had friends on the Phoenix, but we can't falter now... There is still a spy on the loose, and it's quite a suprise that he didn't blow up the ship during the battle. Do we have an idea of who the perpetrator is?"

"Well sir, if you dont mind me saying. It could've been just those two, I mean I have had no reports of anything else mysterious or relevent to a sabotuers action, because quite frankly sir, they have either gone into hidding, or simply dont exist at the moment." Zepplin pointed out infront of the many new faces he saw around him, along with the familiar ones.

"Sir if I may, I believe we have captured the saboteurs on this vessel. One has escaped with detailed information on this ship and its class. We are also forgetting the Admirals forced retirement. I believe this extends deeper than we would think."

Kynes nodded, before turning to the Admiral. "Any idea at all why someone would not want you where you are? Have you made any enemies?"

Zepplin turns to the Commander sitting at his right, next to the Captain, in his usual seat.
"I strongly agree with you on that one sir, we don't know exactly how far this matter extends, but I am sure that it goes further then just a couple of unloyal officers, there is a motive for the Admirals retirement, and we really must find out what it is..." Zepplin pauses.
"With all due respect sir, have you actually asked for another command? Because begging the Admirals pardon, we could just be going around in circles here if you dont actually mind retiring." The Lieutenant pointed out.
"I mean think about it, what possible motive could someone have about getting the Admiral out of the way? Unless there is some classified information that he holds, then we are really engaging in a pointless endeavour here, as the Admiral cannot tell us... if this is the case sir." Zepplin says finishing.

"Perhaps it is his past, the Phoenix engaged the Romulans on a bumber of occasions. Thanks to a shrewd commander we made it threw each" he nods to the Admiral.
