"Fascinating." Zepplin said with a laugh. "I wonder what will happen if we do an infrared scan..." Zepplin gets the nessecary device out and runs it over the sample and looks up at the bio scanners. "Heavens on earth... Vorak, do you know what this means?" he asks him, simply shocked at the results

"That is what I guessed too sir, but what does this mean for the mining facility? We can't let them run it knowing they may be harming a lifeform, even if its one we dont fully understand."

Juliet had a bad feeling something was going to happen, she didn't know what the feeling was but wanted to talk to the commander, she was on the bridge and was heading to where he was until he came storming out onto the bridge, she didn't know what was going on, she looked at him they were ship mates but also friends and she was worried, she went to him. "Commander...?"

"The ready room" he replied and lead her to the desk in their. "Open a channel to Admiral Foron authorizing: Vorak Beta 22." The Admiral appeared on screen after a few moments of dialing. "Commander?" he asked looking up. "Admiral, we have found the cause of the miners readings." "very good, what is the reason?" "Life Admiral, the planet. The fluid is alive. We must stop mining here at once!" "That may be difficult" he replied and shifted in his chair "The dilithium is vital to star fleet at present. We can not afford such a loss." "But some how we have been killing living creatures!" "I will get back to you" he replies and flick off screen. He looks up at her "this is appalling."

Juliet smiled "You are one to think everything is" She giggled some "Is everything ok?" She brushed a strand of hair back in working order, looking into his eyes she felt his warmth, who would have thought some meditating and a few games of Kalto would do wonderful things to a friendly relationship.

"I will contact the minors" he says irritated. "What is it we are very busy?!" said the overseer appearing on screen. "You need to stop you mining at once!" he replied. "What? are we in danger?" "No but we have reason to believe the planet is alive." "Alive? what are you talking about we would have..." "We have, it is life but not as we know it." "Star fleet need us and we have worked hard hear. We will not just pack up because of some goo." "You will be killing a living creature." "We will not stop, I am sure you superiors will agree!" The screen goes blank. Vorak sighs. "Call a staff meeting" he says to her.
Minuets later they were all sitting around the table in the observation lounge. "..And the miners say they have no intention of stopping their activities. Comments?" Vorak asked them.

Some talked amungst thereselves but Juliet who was sitting by his side wondered "Those who are near this stuff, has anyone been hurt?" She wanted to get more information about it, she wondered a few things but one thing at a time, she wouldn't jump all over the commander she had a serious look on her face but a gentle one that went right in front of it.

Will looked troubled at that proposition. "I agree that is what eveidebtly must be done but we can't fir upon the planet, it is living, and i don't think we stand much chance of an away team doing that much in the way of making them stop, although we could give an away team a try." he said nodding at Jade.

"Do we even know what were talking about here? Those plans are crazy, the only way that starfleet is going to stop is if we give them an alternate supply of of di-lithium, thats the only way, beause in reality here, we can't afford to loose that supply, without it the federation will be missing 25% of its di-ithium within a month of the seised shipping. I propose that we carry out our mission, not force them to do anything, make a formal protest to the Federation Council, and search for possible new sources that the miners could tackle, its the only way they will stop sir." Zepplin added, trying to appeal to Vorak's logic, though as of late, he seemed to be acting rather emotionally, with irritation and what not.

He looked up. "Agreed force would only make matters worse,, Mr Zepplin send all the information we have to command. Lets hope we can appeal to their very principals on which this federation was built."

Looking up Rudger says "Sir, i agree with Lt Zepplin. But if we find nothing i still protest action. I will take no part in fireing on the miners, we need this mining outpost and these life forms show no sign of intelligence. While you are serching for new places to mine, i will serch for similar worlds to relocate these to."

"How could you even say that Rudger" Zepplin says protesting to the comment by standing up "urrrrh, if you'll excuse me Commander.” he says, still irritated by the outrageous disregard for life on Rudger's behalf. "I'll go take my protest in favour of the 'un'-intelligent life forms some place else if its not welcome here." He pauses with a tight blank face on he turns back to Vorak, clearly angry now. “With permission sir." he adds, almost itching to leave the room, still leaning on the back of his chair while standing behind it, with both hands clasped on the top, still intently waiting for Vorak’s reply.
