Acting Captains log Stardate 9628.0 We are currently traveling to pick up the Captain from his diplomatic dealings but first must stop to investigate strange readings coming from a fluid based planet that the Federation use to mine Dithium on the planets bed.
"Take us out of Warp and hail the coloney" he commands.

"Endeavour?" asks a elder man with a white mustache and bolding hair. "Indeed you are James Gormon the head of this operation?" Vorak replies. "Indeed, yes. Glad you have arrived we can't make heads or tails of these readings with our limited equipment. And I want to make sure it wont effect the dilithium. This operation is very vital to keeping your star ships running." "Would you mind us taking an away team into the planet to collect samples?" "Not at all, I would welcome it." "Alright. I will contact you on our return. Endeavour out." He turns to the crew. "Alright. Mcvalen, Zepplin and Lichfield with me. Jade you have the bridge. Lets get to it" he says and heads to the turbolift with the others. Minuets later they are launching in the shuttle. "Steady as she goes Mr Mcvalen" he says and looks at the planet. "The blue color looks natural, but see the green patches?" he points out to the others.

"Not according to the records." Zepplin reported, sitting next to Rudger, but at the Navigational Console on the left, while Rudger steered the craft. "I think that closer tri-corder readings will reveal what is actually evident down there Commander." The Shuttle lands and the crew walk out. "The green patches are this way... bearing 236 mark 854." Zepplin adds after scanning the plnets surface with his tricorder.

Meanwhile, on the Olen Homeworld...
The Peace talks had gone quite well thus far, and both sides had agreed to a ceasefire. However, this accord had been met with anger from the populace, and from his Nexus diplomatic office, he could see hordes of Olen protesting in the streets, screaming and chanting. Riot Police stood by, phase rifles at hand...
Kynes' PADD chirped an incoming message, and he activated the communication. "Kynes here..." Admiral Ter'ek appeared within the PADD. "Good Morning, Captain," said Ter'ek, sitting behind his desk. In the background, the windows portrayed a beautiful San Franciscan sunrise, the birds weaving in and out of the sunlight... "It is agreeable to see you again, Admiral. Is there something you need?" "Yes," began Te'rek. "Our Intelligence units on Olen Prime have made reports that a revolution may be at hand. The citizenry are outraged by the Norian ceasefire, and in a combination of other things, Olen Prime might become twisted in a Civil war. According to Intelligence, the main body of Olen society is comprised of uneducated weak minded citizens, called 'Je'no,' or 'hands' in a matter of translation... This citizens have been genetically engineered to be strong, but open to influence. The second caste are the 'Ko'po,' a rough translation of intelligencia. They are the reason Olen society has progressed this far, and they compose the scientist, artist, and lawmaking ranks of Olen Prime. However, neither have near as much final power as the 'Ni'lan' or Aristocrats, as it were... From what we've managed to access, they are the politicians on Olen, and are born to noble status. They are exempt of taxes, and usually live in the Nexus, or a surrounding mansion. These Ni'lan have been raising taxes on the two lower castes and expending the resources of the society on their own needs, instead of the state's. During the Norian war, the Olen were united as a single unit of strength, but since the ceasefire, unrest has escalated to points never seen before. We're worried Kynes, worried that this may be the onset of a revolution. We've already dispatched Endeavour to come pick you up, but it may take a while. Just remain indoors, and steer clear if you see any trouble brewing..." Kynes was at a lack for words... "Understood sir." Te'rek nodded. "Admiral Te'rek out." The viewscreen on his PADD went blank. As the protesters marched through the streets, screams went out as they were pushed back by the Riot control units. The violet sky of Olen prime dazed and hazed as the day went on, and Kynes couldn't help but feel sorry and a bit scared for what was to happen to this society.
Olen Prime was on the brink of revolution, and there was little to prevent it...

"If you like McVanlen" he nodded at him and started to walk towards where a reading was coming from.

"What he means Will, is that as the pilot, he feels responsible for the craft personally, and feels its his duty to make sure it doesn't fall into any enemy hands." he stops talking or a moment as he notices Vorak listening as he talks. " 'Not'; that we will 'find' any here... but there's always that small chance." clearing his throat he continues. "Commander, the bearing is leading us directly to the minings operations, specifically a newly opened area of the facility, perhaps we could take some samples for further analysis?" Zepplin asks, anticipating Voraks answer.

"Agreed, these walkways we have landed on have a earth like atmosphere" he says before going to railing and looking down at the blue swirling fluids of the planet "they will allow us to take sample quiet easily." He points and they walk along the walkway covered by the forcefield atmosphere to the mining base. "This is largest of the green patches, right under the base" he says as they are greeted by Gormon. "I wasn't expecting you hear" he says over the noise of a craft being launched down wards into the planets main body. "The walkways are best for us to accomplish our task" Vorak replies and looks over at an area covered by field but resembled somewhat of a open balcony. "Thats shuttle 3's bay, shes out on duty" he says following the vulcans eye line. "May we use it to take our sample?" "By all means." Vorak and Connor walk over to it, Vorak bend down and dips a device into the fluid taking a sample. "Take one also, we will get it back to the ship."

Litchfield who had been standing back at the shuttle chatting with McVanlen about various things watched the two officers come back with two samples. £Back to the ship then, or have we any other buisness here?"

"Aye sir, is that all we came for? This sample? Not that its not important, but we may as well go back to the ship now, unless of course there is something else we must do first sir?" Zepplin asks him.

He looks back at the minors before answering "We will see, yes lets return to the ship." An hour passed and Zepplin and Vorak were in the science lab. "That is strange" he says zooming in his microscope "When I jolted it, it moved in a most interesting way."
