Grimacing Rudger says "Well then, for their sake i hope we find some Dilithium" Rudger says to vorak, turning back to conor he says "I follow the needs of the federation, and i feel for these life forms, i realy do. But the federation needs the dilithium to keep our ships runing, these life forms are not intellegent so they are not worth loseing half the fleet because we dont have enough dilithium. An intellengent race would be, I'm sorry that i put the lives of the people of the federation above the lives of some form of goo. I honestly hope we do find another source of dilithium" Rudger says as they all leave the confrence room...

Catching up to Jade and Rudger "I don't think the federation would be happpy losing a dilithium mine but then again i don't think think that they want us to be what may be called feeding off lifeforms, even if they are uninteligent, wich is probable, as they have done nothing to stop the miners"

She watched the people leaving and looked at the commander "Well looks like im not an officer on this ship" She said with a lot of anger, no one cares what I think......which is basically everyones way of saying "we don't want you on a mission"

Of course having left the room already, Zepplin di not hear Rudger's justification, and Zepplin was now positioned at the Science station, scanning any not yet fully charted planets, that may hae di-lithium. He had found three matches, but there was only time for the ship to go to any tow of them if they were to still complete their mission.

OOC:oh thanks for the cover Karl, whoops hehe
Jade nodded "What proof do we even have these things are any more intelligent than a microbe and worth risking starfleets military opperations over?" she asked Rudger as they entered the turbolfit.

"..Admiral we talking about living beings here, by our standards millions of them have died." "What proof do you have that these aren't just bacteria, why would we risk the fleets security for that." "I have reason to believe intelligence Admiral, and never the less I believe that all life should be protected. Is it not what the Federation are about? Are we not breaking the prime directive by mining them" Vorak sat back in his chair and saw the Admiral look away and sigh. "I am ordering you to go pick up your Captain, the situation there has escalated." Vorak looks up "Understood Endeavour out." Vorak sits back in thought before getting up and walking onto the bridge. -COM- All hand I am about to commit a direct violation of our orders, It will be on my head and my head only. And crewmen who do not wish to be a part of this return to your quarters-COM- He looked at the senior staff which were all at present assembled on the bridge. "I know some of you don't agree with my logic, and I know you have doubts of my command ability and want to know what the Captain would do. But the Captain isn't here. You must trust in me and in the principals of the Federation. We are to protect life, not destroy it. Anyone who does not wish to be a part of this may leave and go to their quarters now I will note it in my log."

Looking around as he thinks Rudger Says "Sir, permission to take a shuttle and retrive the captain? If he is in trouble i think someone should get him." He was torn, because his father was part of the admiralty witch had just ordered the commander to get the captain. But he considered Vorak a firend, and no matter what happend he would convince his father to make sure nowone was quartmarshled for this... but he still couldint do it. Fireing on federation mining posts? Disobaying orders? And abandening the captain to his fate? So he was determend to follow orders and retrive the captain, if that ment takeing a lone shuttle to do so...he would...
